Have you ever noticed that once you start to yell or elavate your voice at someone or something, you have to keep up that action or "YOU" may not be noticed. I see kids not taking their parents on the 4- real- tip until they start to act like a new fool. I completely understand that people get emotional from time to time due to human imperfections, but should we not keep in mind that we reap what we sew? Parenting is not a chore, rather a prividledge that must be taken seriously. It seems to me that another viable option would be speaking to the youth with respect and love. Catch the kids when they are doing something right then give them a nodd of approval and a kind word then see what results from this approach! I love to say to my kids, " Hey you did a great job or you are special and (my favorite----)Thank you"!
Wardy sez, "The best advice you can give someone...is a darn good example, ask Jesus"
