Eye had 2 learn it 4 myself......

I think I finally understand why grandparents are so patient with grand kids. They spent a great deal of their time looking out for every possible dangerous situation their kidz could face. "Dont touch the hot stove, look both ways B4 crossing the street, wipe your face or wash your hands". It is no wonder that parents have time to have time 4 time! (That actually took a long time to think of.)

One would think that this worry wort syndrone that I call it- transfers into our everyday life. Case N point as follows. My brother from another mother had a tough decesion to make even though he knew the answer all along. He drug his feet and made thousands of excuses why he should not have done it and even made some convincing points to boot. I just kept telling him, "Man they was there for you and you gotta be there for them". Looking back now, Perhaps I was a bit insensitive, but that is what I felt he needed to hear and that why I told him. I would rather be hated for telling you the truth than to be loved for not being the Ward you all know me to be.

Nevertheless, my brother and I discussed the issue again and he told me that he was going to stand and deliver. (Yeah the sucka manned up). He looked at he ground then back up to me and said I had to learn it for myself. I was proud of him- not because I wanted to be right, but because he did it his way.

As far as the parents whom I mentioned above. They like grandparents, learn that sometimes you gotta let UR kids find out that boo-boo does stink, even if the gotta tripp and fall down in. They will live, learn and keep it breezee. Then they too will say, I had to learn it for myself.

I am Ward......
