Love
Today I studied all about love. I found that it has four different meanings from the love a parent has for a child, brotherly love, general love of mankind and love between a man an woman. I won't insult my readers by giving all the Greek terms-because that might robb you of the job of looking this information up to see if I am right!
Anyway with so many love options 2 choose from, its almost funny to think that hatred is so prevalent in the world today. Point: I know a woman who is very charming, great mother of several children, hard working, well kept and up beat. She is one of those people who would give the shirt off her back to a stranger in need (a good Samaritan). Her down fall is her husband- he wants to do his own thing because he thinks the grass is greener on the other side. I understand his view points because of all the great qualities that I mentioned about his wife, I omitted one thing- She never asked her husband what he wants or needs from her? Communication from both parties is missing here. A man is gonna do what he is gonna do, but sometimes love is not perfect. Someone has to be the 4 giver or the one to absorb the blame especially when the two are one. Everyone knows that the woman is the one who holds the family togeather, but it takes a stronger woman to help or sometimes push the man into a husband. I envy the strong black women everywhere.
My other love thought is parents and kids ( here we go again). To spank or not spank, that is the question. But the unanimous answer should always be YESSSSSS. We could go to the scriptures and see something about not whupping that tazz can result in the Parent getting regular beat downs from an out of control teenager? Then again you got some parents who go to the other extreme and beat the kids for every little thing. I look at it like this. A child is like a spring, if you hold the pressure to tight the spring will never be allowed to stretch -let it go to soon, you have big trouble in litte China!! The key is to release it slowly with....whats that word again....oh yeah ( in my Steweey Voice) "Love".
These are two true stories that I am thinking about today, I hope that they both turn out for the best, but at the minimum, these people are not alone because we all got problems 2.
Remember I am Ward.....
