Sometimes I get tired of doing what is right
I often refer to myself as a square and I am cool with that. Lord knows how many talks I have given about the prevention of burn out, yet I sometimes find myself speeding down that very highway. I mean think about it, the only candidates for burning out are the people who want to be successful in life. The people who get up early, worry about having good credit, driving the speed limit, concerned about their job and last but not least, people who care about their reputation. The guy who can work, but won't or that laid back brotha or sista who lives with someone will never burn out. They have no buy in on life.
This is where I am going with this. I try to keep my cars clean, house clean, bills paid and on time, study the Scriptures and homework with my girls, keep the yard looking neat, planning and cooking meals, attending worship service, working 40+ hours at the job and washing and folding clothes. Yes your boy get tired. I just would like to experience team work sometimes, just to see what it would be like. What would I do with my free time. Take a walk in park, visit strangers in a nursing home, hang out with my friends or just go to Starbucks and read a book while sipping on some warm chocolate (with extra whip cream.)
I know I can't stop doing the things I have started because (*R^#$&*(@#$ would break loose. Like I said, I just want some Wardy time for me to just relax and look back and be re-energized about Mi Vida Loco
What is my favorite thing again? I am (tired) Ward......
