Malachi 1:8

...And when you present a blind animal for sacrificing: It is nothing bad. And when you present a lame animal or a sick one: It is nothing bad. Bring it near, please, to your governor. Will he find pleasure in you, or will he receive you kindly? Jehovah of armies has said....

Have you ever given less than 100% on a project, because it wasn't yours or you were tired, or perhaps it was time to end your work shift. I know I have done it and I feel bad about it. Let me illustrate this one for you. There once was a carpenter, who was considered to be the best at his craft in all of the land. His reputation was from here to there and highly spoken of by all. Well the man decided he was tired and had accomplished all he desired with his trade. However, a might King asked him to do one last project before retiring, but the craftsman was not feeling that and was reluctant. The King said, " Name your price and I will pay". The craftsman agreed to do the last home before retiring. The craftsman did not give his all, he even used inferior products because he did not want to wait for his normal shipments to arrive. He was as accurate with his measurement and cutting to say the least. Well the finished product was by far his worst work ever. But alas he was finished and could retire.

To the craftsman surprise, The rich King said" Oh great craftsman, I want to thank you for all the fine work you have done for me and all the land for so many years. This final master piece you have created is for YOU!!!!" The craftsman broke down in tears and we all know why. He moved into his home and kept his secret to himself.

I told this story to myself because I have cheated myself from doing more because I sometimes get tired. But if you are reading this blog today, you must be a friend of mine and I want to apologize for hurting you or letting you down in someway. I promise to do better and I encourage you to do the same. Thank you.

I am Ward.....
