Wardy was engaged in yet another controversial conversation and spoke about Bob Knight (former Indiana University Mens Basketball coach) and how his views were on rape. Knight said "If you are going to get raped and can't get away, to sit back and enjoy it" or something like that. The point is that is his opinion on getting raped or surviving it. Is he wrong? I would say no because, this is his view based on his experiences with life? Would he be wrong if he says my nose is 3 millimeters to wide? Who of us can judge another person's opinion? The other person I was speaking with thought I should be bothered by his comments because I have two daughters. Well, it didn't bother me (sorry) because that man has it own issues and I ain't got time to give time to something that is not going to make me money or save me money-ya feelz me. Do you think Bob Knight would care if I said Wal-Mart got waaaayyyyy to many Handy-capped parking spaces ( and they do) probably not but that disabled Walmart shopper may try and run me down with his motorized wheel chair! Point: Bob Knight has forgotten more about basketball then you and I will ever know, but that don't mean he is a relationship expert,Lol.
Please understand that Wardy is not a know it all (I mean I didn't take no stinking classes in know-it-all-ology) but in my opinion I feel that we all are entitled to our own view points no matter how crass it may be!
I have views that many disagree with for example, Remember when Bill Clinton was president, I felt that what he did with Monica was between his God, his wife and Monica. He was eleceted to run the country and not to the example of the perfect mate (not excusing his actions are acceptable). I think Micheal Vick should be allowed to get his money back. He served his time and is a good athlete. I am sure people could and would arugue me down on my views, but at the end of the day, I will still have my views and you will still have yours so WHY CAN'T WE JUST GET ALONG- RODNEY "CRACK HEAD" KING....
Today's lesson for me is this.........Brotha Malcolm helped me to see that the dog that cried out, was the one in the pack that got hit by the brick! In other wordz sucka, he had be hurt by the words, actions or thoughts of another literally. Likewise, we are all human and can easily get caught up. What hurts me may have no effect on you and vice versa!
I think the best medicine in this situation is to apply the GOLDEN RULE....Treat others the way you want them 2 treat you!!
