Who Knew????? Old meets newness
So another Friday night has come and gone, but B4 it ended I made my way over to AMC to watch a movie. I go every now and then to see how normal folk view movies-lol! I had to decide between the black flick or the sci-fi. Obvious I went with the Star Trek movie (hence the pics). Of course it was packed, but since I was in Greenwood, I was cool with going solo! Odd thing about that is this other black guy arrived around the time I did and after he fumbled around with his funds, he came and stood by me, like we was a couple. I was like**Blank to the knoll. I stepped slightly to the left and he did too. I eventually lost him, but he came in the theater looking like he was looking for his date (me I guess) I turned my head and slid lower in my seat as he slowly passed by looking like Professor Klump Jr.
Back to the movie....It is the 11Th installment of the Star Trek movies and 43 years since the first t.v. show aired. JJ Abrams directed a winner with this one. They made Dr.Spok human and even gave that sucka a love interest (a sista???) and a dual role. The action was great and I never knew what was coming next. This movie is not only believable, but all generations will find it funny and serious at the same time. It ran about 2.5 hours and I still wanted more! Black people will be surprised that Tyler Perry has a major roll in this Micky Flicky too. WHO KNEW????? All I can say is WOW!
In addition, this summer will have some hot new movies that just keep getting better. Look out for Transformers 2, G.I.Joe,Terminator and a few more. I am actually excited about moviez for this season.
By the way, I saw Professor Klump Jr. when I was leaving and he had popcorn droppings all over his Bibb and butter on his lips. He had that never to look at me like " Where was you at, I was looking for you". I just shook my head still satisfied with my movie selection. Check it out, or see your boi for $4.95...I'll hollar...

That movie was amazing. I can't wait until it comes out on blu-ray! Sorry, I can not do the illegal movies cousin.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie as well, with the exception of people (well one guy actually) talking continuously throughout the flick, just RUDE!
I have a crush on SPOCK :)
Sorry NCWiPjr, but spock already has a black woman who don't mind paying for his movie tickets so deal with it midget>
