How come its good until someone says "I read my Bible!"

At some point in our lives, we all seek the higher power, because deep down inside its what we are programmed to do. At least from my perspective! With that being said, I find it ironic that so many people are divided when one says "I read my Bible"? I, for 1, enjoy reading and find that because of this action I tend to know what it says or willing to research the topics of discussion. Isn't that logical? Take for example that people are so quick  2 shoot down another so called "Christian" but refuse to use the word as the final judge. During this last week, I have been told that "One must be-careful of what they learn because God may not want you to learn to much??????" I heard that God wants Barack Obama to lead the world to the promise land and I was even told from a chronic smoker that God will tell them when he wants them to stop smoking.
True, every one is entitled to their own views and opinions but when we have to start attacking someone with harsh mean words, then I have to step off. Seems like most people who don't want study the word personally, but want to hear to good fight or sparring match between two or more people who are actually trying to learn. At the end of the day, we will find out who was right and who was wrong anyway, but that should not stop us from talking peaceably among ourselves.
I was thoroughly surprised to learn that most wars are over what seems to be religion also. I will be glad when what is written takes places and let what will be........B!
My point is simply this..........Christians and Bible readers, start out with a prayer for understanding, read your Bible daily, and practice what you read and see what happens. And by all means, stop arguing with others, it only makes both parties look crazy!
I am ward.....
