Shut the freak up already- we heard ya!

Let’s face it, we all know people who complain for the sake of complaining. Personally, I complain about poor customer service, while others may complain about a spouse, bad kids, horrible jobs or my favorite……Health complaints! In fact, I want to briefly speak on how to stop complaining about health issues, because studies have proven that feeling good about yourself helps you get better-right? I know it is often easier said than done, but I think I got a solution!

1. Refuse to talk about your health. The more you talk about the health issue, even if it is a freaking common cold, the worse it seems lol! Talking about bad health is like putting fertilizer on weeds. Any who, talking about the issue is a bad habit (something that usually becomes a staple of your conversation after 21 days of attention) that actually bores those who hear you!!!! I feel it makes you appear self-centered and old-maidish (I think that’s a word). Positive people remove that tendency 2 talk about bad health. True, you may get a little sympathy, but you won’t get respect and loyalty by being a well-known health or any kind of complainer!

2. sToP worrying about your freaking health already. It is was it already is and you worrying about it is not going to make it go away, but it will allow your mind to wonder off into directions that it may not have otherwise ventured toward. I can’t tell you how many people speak about chest pain, gallbladder concerns and being overweight! Wardy suggest that you try living life the best you can until the situation gets better or you could just die and then stop worrying about it all together! (I prefer option 1) Every minute you spend worrying about an issue is 1 less minute you take away from living positively.

3. How about being grateful for the health you currently have? Now there is an idea! I see on Instagram some positive sayings like “I felt sorry for myself because I have run down Jordan’s on my feet until I met a man who didn’t have feet at all”. Instead of complaining about “not feeling good”, how about celebrating the fact that you have the health that God granted you today? Its ironic because you don’t see a 3 legged dog explaining to his dog friends about missing his leg do ya? Trust me; thinking positive is a powerful tool to have in your wisdom bag.

4. Keep this fact in mind….it is better to wear out than to rust out. Life is a gift from the Creator to enjoy responsibly. I refuse to waste mine any more. Don’t pass up living by always envisioning yourself in the hospital hooked on drugs sucka.

I been on this positive kick for a few weeks now, and I admit, I feel a whole heck of lot better and confident. I had my share of ups and downs, but I take what is given to me and make plans to get the rest when the time is correct!!!!! #Ward in effect…..

I am Ward…….
