The LION king
Its late at night and I am in Los Angeles. I just left the Staples Center and felt the need for some late night pancakes! Come on-don't act like I am the only one who likes breakfast at 1 in the mourning-lol! Well, me and my hommie getz there and grab out seats and immediately notice that the table in front of us has about 15--- lets just call them unique people- laughing and having a fun time. I watched them for a few moments with great anticipation of them (((leaving))) so I could sample each of the four flavors of syrup on my perfectly round pancakes in peace! At LAST.....the rowdy crowd was leaving...yahhhhhhhhh.
Now this is where the dude in the picture comes into play. Yeah, he is the one behind me. This NEGGG-GROW here was-as they say- was playing for the crowd. On this night his audience was two other>>> obviously gay men: who were hanging on this dude's every words- as if he was telling the the five secrets of happiness! So I lean back and get my ear in a good hustling position to see what he was talking about, especially since the the spot was on quiet. For blogging purposes, we gonna call this loud mouth lying man Twannn (trust me, this name fits). Twannn starts to talk about how rap music is the staple that is currently holding modern society together and without Rap music the free world would crumble. I may have to ponder that position, but I think if Jay Z never puts out another album- I might just be alright-lol. This view wasn't that bad, but KLEARLY his view point.
Next, Twannn starts to talk about how he put on all these fashion shows all across Europe and even on the campus of Harvard! I almost fell off my chair in a state of disbelief and shock. I would think a man so well traveled would at least be able to purchase a new pair of shoes before walking around the famed grounds of Harvard. Come to think of it, how does a person run down a pair of boat shoes- they already flat shoes mannnnnn???? The men who ate with Twannn kept asking all these inquizzsitive questions and causing him to stumble and stuff his mouth as he thought carefully with each response. He said that he paid his models enormous salaries to do his shows and all the red tape he had to cut to get the shows jumped off. I wanted to turn around and ask him what why the heck is he freaking lying about lying? But still I had to mind my own business because I know this was good blog material.
I learned that sometimes, we all have misconceptions of grand delusions and if we are not care, we may start to believe our own lies. I think we want people to like us so much, that we choose to show them what we think they will like for fear of reality. I am unsure what Twannn's thing was but it was obvious he was lying. I really think he was a scam artist, but I gotta respect his game, after all they say a sucka is born everyday.
I personally feel that we all have freedom of choice to do what we want, say what we want and go where we want. However, when we are becoming friends with some one, the proper thing to do would be to allow your audience to at least know what is inside your closet! Just be you and if they like you 4 you, then cool beans! If they don't like you 4 you, shake the dust off your feet and keep on moving....
I am WaRd....
