Life is all about adaptation

Losing a loved one in death is helpless pain that we all unfortunately must endure at some point in life! Sure we don't like to think about it but as certain as a pregnant lady will have to give birth to that monster growing insider her-keep on living and ye too shall feel the burn of pain 2!
Similarly, letting go of a loved one can be devastating as well. Sometimes we have to watch our young ones go off to college and feel that tense nervous fear of the unknown and sometimes we have to let go of a lover who has out grown us to allow them to stretch their proverbial wings. Whats around the corner you wonder? No one may know for sure, but life is like a picture, and once we get the chance- we have to take it or forever wonder what may have been!
Don't be fooled by the words, gestures and promises you or they may encounter! Most important are the actions shown, for they well the truth of a person. Wardy always sez, "If someone shows you who they are.....believe them"! Easier said then done-right. I am no exception to the rule. In my life, I have had my fair share of love and pain, but I grew and learned from it, or so eye like to think. I learned you can not color a thought, pick who want to fall in love with and you can not make anyone but your self-- do a darn thing!! I learned to be the best me that I can be and allow others to do the same. Life is short: and with that being said, we have to keep moving and allow the dead to bury their own. (Read the Bible for the thought-lol). The only way to get to point C is to continue forward movement from points A and B!
As parents, all we can do is impart knowledge and be good examples and allow the youngsters to have their shot at life's choices and opportunities. Life is all about adaptation in one form or another. But the real challange is being able to convince your ((self)) that you can and will keep on moving. Sometimes the pain of life can be so great that you dwell on the past. Its natural, but so is acceptance and progression. Embrace today, and dance like no one is watching, love like you have never been hurt and smile that kool-aide smile, because you know I will always love you......
I am Still WarD............
