Your fade or mine?
Who got next? Back to the old profession I guess. It felt great to be back doing what I do! Good conversation and tight bald fades. Was nervous about getting that cross over dollar at first, but hey I am a professional right?

Not again.....
Another day with my crazy friends has further shown me that women are truly crazy & men don't make them that way at all. My homeboys girl is stuck so far in the past on imaginary things that if she hitched a ride with Marty from back to the future, she still couldn't let go! I hope she tries the following or at least get one of them hug your self white jackets that they sale down at the hospital!
1) Pinpoint the reasons for your jealousy: is it based on a past event? Has your partner lied to you? Once you have a reason, you can begin to work on the solution. Awareness of the reasons for your jealousy is important.
2) Identify what role your insecurities are playing in this -- is this based on a previous relationship? Has your partner REALLY done anything wrong? Is this a problem with low self-esteem?
3) Tell your partner about your jealousy using "I feel" statements. Feelings aren't up for debate, and an open line of communication -- WITHOUT being accusatory (Work in Progress) -- is key here. It could be as simple as, "I feel jealous when you spend so much time with your friends."
4) If your jealousy is stemming from something to do with a past relationship, remind yourself that you're in the present. You are no longer in that relationship, this is a new partner, and as such he or she should be given a chance.
5) Really let yourself feel the jealousy. Don't tell yourself you shouldn't or should "be over it" (that's one of the quickest ways to guilt). Become hyper aware of the reasons for the envy. Facing it head-on will cause jealousy to lose some of it's power.

Are black folk as dumb as HOLLYWOOD makes em out to be??????
O.k. So I am flipping thru the channels on the boob tube the other night and ran across what I thought was gonna be an interesting show??? It was called Hip Hop Squares or something like that. I see some comedians and famous rappers. I watch and its all good until I listen to the freaking questions and answers. They ask what does BET stand for or what is "Muffin Top", I was like REALLY???? I turned over to catch the last few minutes of Jeopardy and felt dumb!
I am sure we could come up with some better questions than that to ask our people. I know plenty of smart, educated black folk, so why can't Hollywood find 3? Then again, if you ever read a JET magazine you know it ain't got nothing to do with planes and so easy to read that a 4th grader can get through it....quickly!
I guess I am just realizing that the world is not fair and what is always on T.V. may not be suitable for those of us who are trying to do better.

Is society more tolerant of being gay in 2012????
I remember back in the daze when Eddie Murphy was doing h is stand up routine and talking about how a gay dude is still a man who can kick your butt if he has too. It would seem that society thought of gay dudes as a weaker person based on their sexual preferences. Fast forward to 2012 and now you can loose your freaking job if you speak out on a gay person. Heck, even the president has got some views on the gayness of the world.
My take on homosexuality is this: I am all for anybody doing anything they want to do or be in life. As long as that person is conscious of his actions and potential out comes, then go for it. I also believe that if a person is or trying to be a Christian, then he has to apply Bible knowledge and accept that homosexuality is not acceptable to the author of the scriptures, right? Does the story of Sodom and Gomorrah right any christian bells?
When it comes to Hollywood, I find the most perverse life styles known to man. Seems like people actually sale their souls to the devil to make it. I really believe satan controls the music industry because it is the most influential medium affecting man kind today, followed closely by the movie industry with all its demonic movies that people so quickly accept. Point, have you realized how many singers/rappers end up dead over something self inflicted or wicked life styles. Think about Whitney Houston, Kurt Cobain, Amy Wine house, Micheal Jackson,Jimi Hendrix and many many more.
I guess when you get you so much money its easier to get bored doing "Normal broke folk stuff". So the option of trying the gay route may seem appealing to some. They say you know you are gay from jump, but I wonder this. If you are born gay and God makes you a man or a woman are we saying that God is a liar? Just food for thought! I know some people who are gay and most are cool like my other associates but I don't understand it, I just accept it. I think society changes its views every so many years because man is fickle in general. Recall when it use to be o.k. to marry a 12 year old in America? Heck Elvis married Priscilla when she was a kid, not its a crime. Oh well it I am confident that one day we will all find out if this thing is right or wrong, good or bad-life or death.....
