After all that hating on Lebron.......this is what you didn't know!

Remember last year when Lebron had the whole world watching to see where he was gonna take his talents of basketball? Yeah I watched it and I personally didn't mind how he did as long as that brutha got the heck up outta Cleveland. Seems like my causcasian brethren had more issues with his decesion than other viewers but hey at the end of the day this is still Satan's world-right? Anywho, this what I found out about the 2 million dollars that King James raised ended up going to. Peep the following.....

A contribution of nearly $60,000 repaired a leaky roof, refurbished a dingy gymnasium and will pay for a new playground at the Mount Pleasant club on East 131st Street. And the Slavic Village club on Broadway received $70,000, which was used to install a new gym floor and purchase bleachers. The club also is waiting on delivery of 20 new computers.

Both clubs also received a video sports training system and $2,500 worth of sports gear.

In addition to the $2 million cash contribution, James arranged for the donation of $500,000 in computers from Hewlett-Packard and $500,000 in gear from Nike. Fifty-nine Boys & Girls Clubs across the country are receiving help from James.
Kids playing basketball on the new floor at the Broadway Avenue club Tuesday afternoon had a more forgiving attitude toward James than is typically expressed by those who continue to demonize him on sports talk radio.

"I think he deserves to get a ring," said LaBron Sanford, 14. "He just went to a better team."

Dave Archibold, 15, echoed LaBron's sentiments. And he's happy with James' gift.

"This is a good floor," he said. "I'll remember him for that."

The Elyria club received $110,000, money that is paying for a new fitness center and improvements to the basketball court. The club also is getting 15 new computers.

I guess sometimes we just gotz 2 do what we think is right and not worry about pleasing those of us who do nothing but complain. Hey Lebron, I don't expect you to be nothing but a basketball player and me and mine just want to say Thank you for being you..... Now Burn dat!

I do!.................. Or Do I?

Marriage is one of the biggest dedications a person can make in his or her lifetime. You want to be sure that this newly formed union will be a success, but as we all know there are no guarantees in life and most used cars-lol!
Would it be wrong to change my mind at the last possible minute? I am talking right up there at the alter. Ya know what I mean, you standing there in front of the crowd in your black Armani Tux and she got on the $10,000 Vera Wang dress (Hood Perspective: You standing there in your t-shirt that looks like a tux shirt and Levi's shorts and flip flops and she has on an over sized T-shirt and yall standing in the White Castle parking lot)and you suddenly feel like this person you are set to marry is not the right person for you or you are not the right one 4 them. Panic sets in and your feet start in motion, (in my Keanu Reeve voice: What do you do? What do you do?)
Studies show that some men take to flight, get to running, kick rocks man, flee like David in the Bible, leave the woman at the Alter cuz she Crazy?
Should you go through with this union or do what your inner child is screaming to ya. Lets weigh our options. If you go through with it, you may be miserable all your married life and what ever was the root cause of your doubt will always be there. If you leave then you lost everything and free to do anything!
I guess it comes down to a personal choice but I would rather leave or post pone until I felt sure or confident of my decision! We have a high divorce in this country for a reason. God doesn't choose our marriage mates for us, but he does tell us how we should conduct our actions and what we should look for in a mate. But hey, who am I?

This low budget Joe Clark wonna be is off the chains....

Most of us saw the 1989 movie titled “Lean on Me” which starred Morgan Freeman as Principal Joe Clark. He turned a Paterson New Jersey high school, Eastside High, into a model for all high schools to follow.Joe Clark and Morgan Freeman Crazy Joe was a former Army drill instructor with a bachelor’s in elementary education from William Paterson College and a master’s in Education from Seton Hall. His tough love worked to rid Eastside of derelicts, ensure an atmosphere conducive for learning and brought out the best in his student body. He had no time for blaming this one or that one for their problems or situations. He had no time for excuses. What he had time for was to be a motivating factor in the respective student’s achievements. But he knew and said it as much, the individual is the one who has to do it. Here are a quote from the movie:

“My motto is simple: If you do not succeed in life, I don't want you to blame your parents. I don't want you to blame the White Man. I want you to blame yourselves. The responsibility is yours!”

With that being said I worked in a High school Thursday and saw a man who....how can I say this with out being offensive? O.k. I got it....that sucka is straight crazy!! No wait, he is out of his cartoon loving mind- better yet Joe Clark Jr. is taking expired medication from 1983! Here is the situation: A student ran up to me and asked me would I explain to the Principal that she is suppose to be in my class because he is trying to send her back to class. I said o.k. I will go speak to him, but only if she allowed me to do all the talking! So off we went and there was Joe Clark Jr. Standing down the hall yelling on his walkie talkie standing three foot 8 inches short! I opened my mouth to speak, but was quickly interrupted by him screaming at the my student about disrespecting him. I again tried to speak when he looked at me and stuck his index finger ( i think he had a booger on it to -gross) in my face and told me that I couldn't speak to him until he finished saying what he had to say and then and only then could I speak. It took everything I had to remain cool because the students were all watching us now. I listened to Joe Jr and then I apologized for the disruption and took all the blame for the issue and tried to explain the student was suppose to be in my class and I didn't have her hall pass but she should have explained to him in another respectful way. Joe Jr. said he didn't care what I had to say and was kicking her out of school for 5 days. As I looked in his eyes and noticed this sucker foaming at the moan, I knew I should just walk away. I informed my supervisor who was able to get the student to remain in school but not back in the class.
This situation really bothered me, mostly because this man is what I consider a house negro. He is giving up on these students at this school (because its an alternative school) and he doesn't even try to encourage a change in students. He is just being a bully who gets a paycheck by the system. I took time to just observe this guy further. He intimidated most of the students and almost challenged them to fights. He gets cussed out by everyone that passed by him. I think he has short man syndrome. I don't know, I guess I expect more from a black man in authority. Am I asking to much for someone to do their job and care just a little bit about the finished product.
All I am saying is that.... we gotta pick our own battles while owning our various selves.....
I am Ward not Joe Clark Jr........

Cheating on the game ---with the players.......

People are always debating over who is better? Kobe or Lebron? It doesn't matter to much to me because I respect both their games and love the fact that two black men are handling business the way the are. Sure Kobe seems cocky and and aloof but who knows everybody anyway? If I had money I may change to. Lebron is human too but seems just a tad bit more humble but I don't know him either. I found this out about Lebron when he was in high school. See next Paragraph......

LeBron James, St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, Ohio), 2003
James was one of the first major high school talents to gain national media attention via cable television. Media giant ESPN began broadcasting James’ games his senior year as St. Vincent-St. Mary went on the road to play some of the top teams in the country and eventually finish the season as the nation’s No. 1 ranked team. James was also a Sports Illustrated coverboy (listed as “The Chosen One”) as a junior in 2002 when he was named as the possible “next Michael Jordan.” One NBA Scout even labeled James as the “best high school player I’ve ever seen. He is a freak.” And that was after James’ sophomore season. James was the first pick in the NBA draft and has been a two-time All-NBA first team selection in his five seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now with the Miami Heat- I suspect some championship rings to follow.
